Weekly Shonen Jump is the weekly comic magazine that many legendary stories were born. To commemorate the magazine's 50th anniversary, the Weekly Shonen Jump Exhibition will look back on the publication's history from its founding to the present. The second round will start from 19th March with heroes of the 90's, who are still loved by worldwide fans today.

This exhibition allows people to experience and enjoy the process of scientific investigations, using Conan's familiar worldview as a base. Visitors follow their detective memo, going around three areas, the "Crime Scene Inspection Area" where they gather evidence, the "Information-Gathering Area" to collect new information, and the "Lab Area" where they scientifically appraise their evidence, and then clarify the truth of the case.

The mid Edo period painter and designer Ogata Kōrin elevated the decorative tradition in Japanese art to the level of contemporary design. At the same time, Kōrin's younger brother Kenzan was acctive as a ceramic artist who launched new trends in the world of ceramics. This exhibition presents the richly varied ouerves of these two artists who are also brothers, a pairing rare in art history.

Genichiro Inokuma was known for his blind love for cats, sometimes keeping a dozen as pets, and they were always an important motif of his life and paintings. Inokuma's art is constrained by the bounds of cats, but this exhibition invites viewers to first enjoy the paintings in which he portrayed his beloved felines, as a gate to Inokuma's world of great depth.

In March 2018 the Tower of the Sun will finally be reborn after a longtime-neglected because of the problem of earthquake-resistant strength. It has been renovated and transformed into a permanent exhibition space. This exhibition will trace the fifty-year history of the tower, from 1967, when Tarō Okamoto participated as producer of Osaka's Expo 1970, until 2018 when the interior was recreated, and consider his intentions in creating the Theme Pavilion/Tower of the Sun. Highlight will be miniature three-dimensional model of the Theme Pavilion.

Place: The National Art Center, Tokyo
Huge installation that some 300 koinobori (carp streamers) designed by Reiko Sudo, one of Japan's preeminent textile designers, vigorously swimming around the gallery. Sudo will create this collaborative project with French exhibition designer Adrien Gardère and a noted member of Rhizomatiks Seiichi Saito. A hands-on experience corner will also be set up at the venue.

With enormous projects inside and outside Japan, world-class architect Kengo Kuma is constantly on the move. This exhibition is a major survey of his projects from the past 30 years. The exhibition focuses in particular on materials, which Kuma has dialoged with extensively through his work.

Odilin Redon, while being one of the generation of Impressionist painters, turned his imagination to a fantastical inner world. This exhibition focuses on his artistic imagery around plants, making it an unprecedented display. It will be a valuable opportunity to encounter the 15 murals that graced the walls of the dining hall in the castle of Baron Robert de Domecy. Especially, "Grand Bouquet", one of the largest pastel works of art he ever painted, will be the most important piece in this exhibition.

The cherry tree has been depicted in many types of paintings: narrative and genre paintings of people enjoying the cherry blossoms, paintings of landscapes with cherry trees and spots famous for their cherry blossoms, and bird-and-flower paintings and paintings of floral subjects, in which flowers play the leading role. Cherry blossom paintings by distinguished nihonga artists will be in full bloom at the Yamatane Museum of Art in the spring of 2018.

The solo exhibition by the renowned and multifaceted American artist KAWS. Continuing in the tradition of Pop Art, his influential work crosses painting, sculpture and printmaking along with fashion, merchandise and toy production while drawing upon art history and popular culture. In his paintings, KAWS deconstructs his appropriation of iconic characters into forms that draw on the tradition of abstract painting.
