Weekly Shonen Jump is the weekly comic magazine that many legendary stories were born. To commemorate the magazine's 50th anniversary, the Weekly Shonen Jump Exhibition will look back on the publication's history from its founding to the present. This exhibition traces the lineage of architecture from ancient times until the present in Japan.

This exhibition allows people to experience and enjoy the process of scientific investigations, using Conan's familiar worldview as a base. Visitors follow their detective memo, going around three areas, the "Crime Scene Inspection Area" where they gather evidence, the "Information-Gathering Area" to collect new information, and the "Lab Area" where they scientifically appraise their evidence, and then clarify the truth of the case.

Matsudaira Fumai, the seventh Matsudaira family daimyo of the Matsue Domain, was recognized as a master of the Japanese tea ceremony and, as a practitioner of Zen throughout his life, he mastered the spirit of chazen ichimi. This exhibition marks the 200th anniversary of Fumai's death and showcases tea vessels, items from his tea utensil collection, and paintings and calligraphy that he created himself.

In Japan, Paleolithic period has the longest history but it is still shrouded in mystery. A lot of piece of bones from the period were found in Okinawa, but no stone implements. However, from the recent research, the complete skeleton of the Paleolithic period and the oldest fishing hook were excavated in Okinawa. This exhibition will introduce those historical excavated articles and the latest researches.

Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso, the founders of cubism, revolutionized art in the early 20th century by breaking up three-dimensional objects into parts and reassembling them such that the object's entirety could be presented on a two-dimensional surface. This exhibition marks the first in Japan to focus entirely on Métamorphoses, a series of sculptures, ceramic works, jewelry, and other three-dimensional works of art that Braque adapted from his paintings in his late period.

Yamatane Museum of Art is holding a special exhibition on the Rimpa tradition, which originally flowered with Tawaraya Sōtatsu, Ogata Kōrin, and Sakai Hōitsu as its central figures and has been sustained by modern and contemporary nihonga artists as well as designers.

Nobuyoshi Araki's solo exhibition for the first time with the new Tokyo space in complex665, Taka Ishii Gallery. The exhibited works were all captured on medium-format monochrome film. Though monochromes originally symbolized death for Araki, he began last year to see movement in monochrome photography, claiming "You can’t kill it. A photo has to show minute movements to the last." Watch how his works become alive under his philosophy.

Decorated Urushi: The Beautiful World of Gold and Silver on Black Lacquer

Place: Sen-oku Hakuko Kan(1-5-1 Roppongi)
Sen-oku Hakuko Kan will hold a exhibition about Urushi, a traditional Japanese natural lacquer. Showcasing Japanese, Ryukyu, Korean and Chinese lacquer ware selected from that Sumitomo family's collection with a focus on tea sets used at tea ceremonies and vibrant vessels used to entertain guests.
